(…)Joanna Marcinkowska’s recital culminated in a performance of “Scarbo” from Ravel’s cycle Gaspard de la nuit. The piece was played with a dazzling virtuoso skill, and along with certain previous compositions provided the artist with an opportunity to display the utterly masculine strength of her keystrokes.
